Natalie Cole Awaits Kidney Transplant

Ailing singer Natalie Cole is reportedly gearing up for a kidney transplant.

In a release issued Thursday, Cole was said to be going in for a kidney transplant after being diagnosed with Hepatitis C in 2008.

Instead of waiting for a donor, Cole’s sister has decided to give her a kidney, saving the singer’s life.
